Unlimited possibilities for creativity in dance, or any art form, require
receptivity and trust, so first, we’ll
retire the judge! This invites safe passage to vast resources of origination,
spontaneity
and the thrill of the unknown! Be ready to move through time and space
in terms of distance,
speed, and technique, as we develop our abilities to “see” what we hear and
illustrate our visions in dance!

2:30-4:30 Laylia Motion Motivation!
Laylia has returned to join you in 2 hours of fantastic learning! Her
movement coordination exercises will brighten your day with giggles and
help you feel your hips from a different perspective! Add a break down of
lively dance combos and finger cymbals for a wild ride that anyone would hate
to
miss!

9-11:30am Aziza Nawal Drum Solo Technique Class:
Aziza Nawal will be teaching a (2) hour class in drum solo dance
technique. The focus will be on essential drum solo elements: rhythm, accents
and
patterns. Aziza will teach several combinations to accompany these
elements including layered shimmies and her signature pops and locks.
(At lunch, classes will be relocating to the Broadway Parks and Recreation
Center - more info to come)
